Lymphatic Therapy

The importance of a healthy lymph system cannot be overstated. As one of the least understood systems of the body, it’s proper functioning is fundamental to optimal health.

Effective lymph therapy is very gentle touch that follows a specific protocol of direction and timing.

The lymph system is composed of the following:

  • Organs: Thymus, liver, tonsils, adenoids, heart and spleen.
  • Nodes: 400-700 nodes in the human body. These little dynamos are on the frontline of our immune system. They recruit white blood cells, destroy pathogens {such as bacteria} and filter waste.
  • Lymph fluid: The fluid is a transparent colorless alkaline liquid which contains: proteins, lipids, carbohydrates, enzymes, urea, minerals, hormones, toxins, bacteria, body waste, oxygen and nutrients.
  • Lymph capillaries: Virtually all cells and tissue in the body are permeated with lymph capillaries that carry the lymph fluid.

Because the lymph system cleanses nearly every cell in the body the negative effects of chronic lymph blockage include, but are not limited to: frequent cold and flu-like symptoms, joint pain, headache/migraines, menstrual cramps, loss of appetite, fatigue, mood swings, depression, acne and cellulite.

Contraindications may include malignant tumors, thrombosis, and major heart issues.
